Ben Davis has been a professional and manager for almost 25 years, and CEO for the last decade. Ben has an extensive background in customer service, and a unique perspective and passion for helping people be the best versions of themselves. Ben started working at age 15 and spent the next seven years in the food service industry as an ice cream fountain jockey and a short order cook while attending high school in Clark Summit, PA and then as a sauté chef and bartender while completing a Bachelor’s Degree from Drexel University. Over the next six years Ben worked simultaneously as an Assistant Manager of a Blockbuster Video store and as the Director of Children and Camp Programs at the Sabes Jewish Community Center (formerly the Minneapolis Jewish Community Center). While finishing his Master’s degree, Ben worked as the Youth & Children Services Director and Assistant Camp Interlaken Director at the Harry & Rose Samson Family JCC in Milwaukee, where he met and married the love of his life, Francie Mallin Davis. After the birth of their first daughter, Judy, Ben and Francie moved from Milwaukee to Philadelphia, where Ben became the Operation Director for the Jewish Reconstructionist Federation Camp Havaya (formerly Camp JRF). There, the Davises welcomed their second daughter, Mollie. In 2008, Ben was able to fulfil one of his dreams of running a large residential summer camp when he was offered the position of Executive Director of Camp Livingston, a 640-acre camp in southern Indiana. Over the next five years Ben supervised over 250 staff members and recruited over 1,000 children to attend Camp, as well as overseeing all of the operations from budgeting and fundraising, to program development and facilities management. Ben was offered and accepted the position of Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of St. Joseph Valley in Northern Indiana in late 2013. As the CEO, he overhauled the finances and business operations of the Federation, helped increase their endowment by over 30%, reduce expenses by 20%, moved from a server-based infrastructure to 100% cloud computing, expanded the program department, launched a successful legacy campaign, and developed relationships throughout the religious and secular communities. In early 2020, Ben was ready for the next dream, to offer his unique and valuable combination of skills to help other professionals in similar fields identify and achieve their goals. Thus, the Ben Davis Consulting firm was born.

In addition to his Bachelor’s Degree, Ben also has a Master’s Degree from the University of Minnesota, two Technical Certificates from Ivy Tech College in Cyber Security and Computer Networking, and has the following professional certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+ and CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate).
